Who said you can't have chocolate pancakes for breakfast EVERY DAY of the week? These pancakes will satisfy any sweet craving that you may have whilst nourishing your body and keeping you full for hours.
Chocolate Protein Pancakes
Ingredients
- 50g Oats, blended into a flour
- 5g Cocao Powder
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
- 1 Egg
- 150ml Almond milk
- 15g Protein powder (vanilla or chocolate)
- Fresh strawberries, for toppings
- Peanut Butter, for toppings
Method
- Add all ingredients to a blender (except for strawberries and peanut butter). Blend until smooth. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes.
- While the mixture sits. Heat a frypan to medium heat. Add a dash of oil. When the pan is hot, pour the mixture into your desired pancake size. Once the top of the pancakes has lots of holes it is time to flip and cook the other side.
- Add the cooked pancakes to a plate. Top with strawberries and peanut butter.
