Healthy Choc Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2/3 cups brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 tbsp nuttalex (or regular butter if not dairy free)
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- Pinch salt
- 100-120g chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a bowl add the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Mix together with a fork, breaking up any lumps of sugar
- In a separate bowl melt the butter. Then add eggs and vanilla. Whisk with a fork to combine.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the flour mixture and mix until the mixture comes together and forms cookie dough. Stir through the chocolate chips
- Roll into 12 balls and flatten on the tray. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden on the outside.
