Method


  1. Preheat the oven to 160 Degrees C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Spread the hazelnuts over the prepared baking tray and bake for 12-15 minutes. Remove from the oven, rub the hazelnuts between the palms of your hands to remove as much of the outer layer as you can.
  3. Add the hazelnuts to a high-speed blender and blend until they start to form a paste.
  4. Add the melted chocolate, cacao powder, rice malt syrup, vanilla and salt. Blend until you have your desired Nutella consistency. *NOTE: Depending on your type of blender you may need to add a little almond milk.
